Hi, I’m Rebekka!

Yes, I’m aware most have “c’s” in their name but my mama thought it would be unique to add k’s to mine - and that is exactly I am as a stylist. Or so I’d like to believe.

I have been a hair artist for 11 years and a lash artist for 4 (certified in UV lash extensions). I strongly believe hair is the crown you wear and that your mood for the day is most definitely set by if it’s a good hair day or a bad, and I absolutely work my tail off to ensure it’s a good hair day the day of the appointment and with the right products and routine, post appointment. I’m in love with toning, blondes, and funky colours. Whether it’s a lived in blonde or a modern day “emo” cut or something fun & outside of the box you can find me excitedly jumping up and down like a child at Christmas. I come from both a small town and the city - so modern day mullets are right up my alley. My mom taught me at a young age to cut hair, she was a stylist for a brief time in her youth and urged me to go into hair, I fought and fought and fought, finally caved and found not only my passion but my personality.

Outside of work I have two children, a teenaged son and a toddler daughter (my two-a-saurous-rex) when I’m not annoying them with my shenanigans you can find me drinking tea and binge watching the walking dead (for the millionth time) & the rookie! I love road trips, the ocean, painting, and a good book!

Whether it’s a bold transformation or subtle maintenance, my goal is always the same: hair that looks amazing and feels even better. With 5 years of experience, I come from a family of hairstylists. So instead of passing down recipes, I was handed shears, color formulas, and the ability to spot who needs a haircut from across the room. I pride myself on being able to cater to both men's and women's styles, working closely with inspiration pictures while focusing on how to customize each service specifically for you.

Earning my Red Seal was a huge milestone in my career, but I never stop striving for more. The beauty industry never stands still, and neither do I. I’m always evolving through continued education, refining my skills to give my clients the best I have to offer. To me, great hair isn't just about the end result, it starts with listening; which is why I value consultations and love to create a blueprint for the next step in your hair journey.

At every appointment, I bring high energy, a big smile, and lots of laughs. I love creating a fun, lively atmosphere where you can feel relaxed and enjoy the experience. Plus, I’ll make sure you leave with the knowledge (and maybe a few product secrets) to keep your hair looking salon-fresh every day.

When I’m not at the salon, you’ll probably find me cruising the city, buried in books as I prep for exams, or getting lost in a good book with a cup of tea in hand.

I have been behind the chair for close to 7 years and have my red seal certification. I'm passionate about anything lived in and I love a good blonde but continuing to learn and grow is my biggest passion.

As a kid I started to notice my own hair sparkles start to make an appearance and now into my adult years they definitely shine bright! As much as we try and cover them up I do love a natural grey blend which is where my love for lived in color flourished.

Growing up it was always my passion to help and inspire others. Becoming a part of the beauty industry has only made that fire burn brighter! It's my belief that not only are you in my chair to get the hair of your dreams but also to bring out your inner beauty and confidence!

It's important to have clients who sit in my chair feel comfortable, judgement free, relaxed and pampered. Starting with a thorough consultation to a custom color/cut plan, the massage at the sink and the finishing style so you can leave feeling as beautiful as you deserve to feel!

When im not behind the chair I really enjoy going to the mountains whenever i can and spending a good night at home with my kitties.

From the perfect color match to the install and final cut/style, I love creating seamless, natural-looking blends that make my clients feel beautiful.

Hi, I’m Shelley!

I’ve been in the hair industry, helping people feel beautiful for 30 years and I LOVE what I do. I’m a Redken Certified Haircolourist and I’ve had extensive education with Redken 5th Avenue NYC at the company headquarters in New York City and in Toronto, Montreal and Calgary. Additionally, I’ve taken advanced training with Martin Parson, at the Vidal Sassoon academy in Los Angeles, and at the Living Proof Lab in Boston. As an expert colour and design specialist, I design for both men and women, taking inspiration from runway fashion to lifestyle looks. I think your hair style is personal and is a reflection of our relationship. I'm a mom, with two amazing daughters that challenge, inspire and make me laugh daily. I run, work out, play ringette and golf, and I value good friendship—especially to share a glass of Chardonnay!
