Hi, I’m Cassandra but you can call me Cassie!
I started my hair journey right after high school and I soon graduated from MC Collage, March 2023! I have always had a passion to do hair and I love to practice make up on my free time! I first got into hairstyling because of the creativity. I am always practicing, learning and willing to challenge myself with new techniques! My goal is to always make my clients happy and to feel their absolute best!
When I’m not in the salon, I love to be out spending time with my family and friends! I am always in the mood to go out, eat and spend quality time together!

I’ve been hairstyling for two years, and my love for the craft continues to grow each day. At the start of 2024, I made the big move from Newfoundland to Calgary, driven by my passion to expand my skills and knowledge within the hair industry.

My fascination with the art of hair began back in high school, and for the past four years, I’ve immersed myself in every aspect of the hair industry—from mastering cutting-edge techniques to staying on top of the latest trends.
When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll likely find me treasure-hunting for unique vintage pieces, exploring the great outdoors, or spending quality time with my cat, Luci.
With a blend of creative flair and technical expertise, I’m eager to bring my passion to each and every client, helping them look and feel their absolute best.

Hi, my name is Stephanie!
I have been a hair artisan for over a decade and I've dedicated my entire career to making women & men like you, look and feel beautiful/ or handsome, inside and out.
On my journey, I became a professional educator for the KEVIN.MURPHY team. With advanced training in many luxe hair brands, KEVIN.MURPHY, Oribe, Davines, Aveda just to name a few…product knowledge, I believe, is our friend and with the right applications, is a game changer. I have had the opportunity to travel states side to Los Angeles, Minneapolis and Vegas for exclusive advanced training from some of the top leaders in our industry to be able to bring that back for all of you!
My passion for the hair styling arts has also driven me creatively in the world of colour, where I apply modern techniques to deliver beautiful, bold results for all of my clients and guests.

Hey, hi, hello!
I’m Emma Topp,
Stylist of 12 years, and longtime lover of hair! My passion since a young age has always led me back to hairstyling! My favourite things to do behind the chair is create different dimensional toned blondes and brunettes, lived in foil work, such as balayage and baby lights and of course different haircutting techniques to give you the best hair day every time.
my ultimate goal when you come in is to make you look and feel your best! I always offer a through consultation before each visit!
When I’m not at work, I’m a full time mom but also have my Reiki master certificate and love anything to do with energy work or yoga !
Can’t wait to see you in my chair when I’m back from maternity leave.

I’ve been a stylist behind the chair for over 17 years, and people say you’ve got to love what you do… I put the L O V E in it! ❤️
The best part of my career is connecting with my clients, building lifelong relationships, and seeing the smiles that light up my day.
I bring a zest for my craft and a vivacious personality, almost as bold as my favorite lip color! Behind the chair, I’m happiest working with blondes and creating multi-dimensional color magic.
Education is a huge part of our ever-evolving industry, and I’m always learning! I’ve had the privilege of attending courses in coloring and cutting with icons like Vidal Sassoon, Bumble and Bumble, and Redken, just to name a few.
Ready to step into the future of hair with me? I can’t wait to have you in my chair!

As the founder of Rootbar and a stylist with 16 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of learning from some of the best educators in the world. My passion lies not only in mastering advanced techniques—such as balayage, blonding, precision cutting, and styling for both men and women—but also in the art of communication and thorough consultations. This approach allows me to transform hair in ways that truly align with each client’s vision.
In addition to my work behind the chair, I’ve had the honor of educating and mentoring other stylists across Canada. Sharing knowledge and helping others grow within the industry is something I deeply value. I also offer colour analysis and styling services for special occasions, including weddings, to help clients look and feel their best on life’s most memorable days.
When I’m not styling hair, I’m focused on running and growing Rootbar. Being an entrepreneur fuels my passion for building a business that supports creativity, innovation, and the personal growth of those around me.
Outside of the salon, I love enjoying a great meal with family and friends, staying active through fitness, and spending time in the mountains.
